Assalamualaikum ( Peace be upon you ) and Kia Ora everyone! 

It has been 7 months since my last update. This was because of few factors and one of them is laziness. :p haha but today I'm back. 😁 Anyway in my last blog post, I've mentioned that I had finished my 1st year degree in Mechanical Engineering at UniKL MFI, Bangi and was preparing to fly overseas. Well the preparation was quite complicated though, which required me to shuttle between Kedah and Kuala Lumpur for a few times. It was so tiring. I had to attend camps, do a medical checkup, apply visa and lots more. Alhamdulillah, thank God that the date of my flight was confirmed on 20th February 2015. 😁 I was on top of the world because I'd finally fullfil my dream to study abroad but at the same time, my heart was itching to leave my lovely family, relatives and friends. 😢 So like the post title, I'm going to the land of the long white cloud, which is New Zealand. Goodbye Malaysia!

We departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 4.30 p.m Malaysia time. Our flight was not a direct flight . Unfortunately, we'd to transit at Singapore and Sydney, Australia before reaching Auckland. Seriously, every transits was like so annoying that we had to pass every countries' immigrations.

After about 10 hours plus minus of journey, so here we were in Auckland International Airport, New Zealand! Kia Ora New Zealand! 

As soon as we arrived, we were picked up by our seniors, who are staying here in Auckland. They are very kind and we are so lucky to have them as our friends. It was summer at the time we arrived in Auckland. However, the temperature was lower than in Malaysia, thus we still felt cold because of the unfamiliar humidty.

Owh by the way, kia ora means hello in Maori, which is the native of New Zealand. I've so many things to share about my time in New Zealand. So wait for my update in the future. See ya!

Assalamualaikum, hai semua 😄

Terlalu lama dah tinggal kan blog ni sampai lama sangat tak update 😅 anyway macam post title ni, aku baru ja selesai tahun pertama as a student of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering di Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI), Bangi, Selangor. Faktor kesibukan dan tiada masa dicampur malas menyebabkan aku tak sempat nak post bnda baru. Biasa la dah jadi budak U kot. Budak degree. Engineering plak tu. Susah la jgk.

Post sebelum ni aku ada cakap yg aku pelajar Fsc Australia / New Zealand batch yg ke-5 kat KMKN masa tahun 2013. So kira setahun la aku post nothing 😅 Ikut flow program SPC ni, lepas habis foundation di KMKN so aku kena daftar masuk UniKL. UniKL ni ialah IPTS di bawah kendalian MARA. Tahu tak IPTS tu apa? Stands for Institut Pengajian Tinggi Swasta. Satu lgi IPTA for Institut Pengajian Tinggi Awam mcm USM, UKM, UniMAP dan lain-lain. Yang ada Malaysia dlm nama tu kebanyakannya IPTA lah.

Ok lepas KMKN, aku minta course Mechanical Engineering. Untuk kami pelajar TDP Aust / NZ ni, kami kena pilih antara 3 buah UniKL ja. UniKL ni ada berbelas cawangan. 3 buah UniKL tu ialah MFI, MICET dan BMI. Ramai junior aku yg sama program dgn aku tnya lps KMKN nk masuk UniKL mana? So untuk aku yang apply mechanical engineering ni kena ditempatkan kt MFI sbb MFI mmg khas untuk course2 yg berkaitan mechanical engineering. MICET khas untuk course2 berkaitan chemical engineering dan BMI plak untk course2 berkaitan electrical and electronic engineering.

Program aku ada 59 orang ja masa kt KMKN. So bla dah masuk UniKL, kami semua terpaksa berpecah. 29 org dripada 59 tu masuk MFI termasuk lah aku. 😁 Aku daftar kt MFI hujung bulan Januari. Masa first sampai tu aku tak sangka yang MFI tu universiti sbb bangunan semua mcm kt kolej ja. Tak nampak mcm universiti pon 😅 Settle daftar apa semua then bermula minggu silaturahim aka orientasi dkt situ 😳 Minggu ni paling aku nyampah sbb kami dilayan mcm budak sekolah. Dah la kena bangun malam kena denda haih menyirap jgk aku 😤 haha tapi takpa lepas minggu tu semua kembali mcm biasa.

Dari dulu lgi aku dok impikan nak mengaji jauh dari Kedah tmpat tinggalku tapi tak pernah dpt. Ya lah sekolah rendah dekat Kedah, sekolah menengah kt Kedah, KMKN pon kt Kedah 😩😩 So bila dapat msuk MFI ni terasa best sangat. Satu sbb dok U rasa bebas sgt. Dua sbb dok dkt Selangor dekat2 KL plak tu. Senang nak berjalan pi mall ka apa ka. Kalau nak pi Putraya dlm 10 minit boleh sampai sbb dekat sgt. Haha 😂 Dekat sekeliling MFI ni makan pon boleh tahan murah la kalau nk banding tempat lain. Sbb kawasan student kan. Lagi pon MFI ni jiran dgn KPTM Bangi ja. So ramai sgt student kat situ. Burger Abang Burn pon ada situ 😙

Nak cakap pasal study, ok degree memang boleh tahan susah. Course engineering plak memang beruban jgk rambut aku. Haha 😅 Tapi lecturer semua baik2 la. First sem alhamdulillah lepas GPA 3.5. Sem 2 pon sama alhamdulillah lepas. So, sekarang ni aku tengah cuti buat persiapan untuk fly ke New Zealand. Cuti 3 bulan der lama der. 😎 InsyaAllah kalau semua berjalan lancar mcm dirancang, tahun ni aku dpt tunaikan azam aku dri kecik iaitu belajar kt oversea aminn. Doakan aku semoga dipermudahkan urusan 😄
